Women's Ministries Banner

Our Women's Ministry always has something fun planned for women and girls. We present several opportunities to invite friends and to reach out to the needy and hurting in our community and even abroad.

Upcoming Activities:

SEPTEMBER

Game Day

Playing table games and snacking on fun treats (chocolate fondue!). It's a great way to meet and make new friends! Secret sisters will be given to those who want to participate in the program.

Secret Sister Program

If you want to participate in blessing a "sister" join us in September at the Secret Sister Game Day where you will find out who your sister is and be able to bless her with small gifts, notes of encouragement and prayer.

OCTOBER

Women's Retreat at Gull Lake

An annual overnight retreat in the first weekend of October for women and teen girls. The main speaker this year is Jennifer Beckham who is a former Disney Princess.

JANUARY

Secret Sister Reveal Luncheon

This luncheon will be at a local restaurant in January.

Recent Activities:

Ice Cream Social

A fun gathering for women and children with lots of ice cream and toppings!

Teas

A good time is guaranteed whether it be at our "Spring Cupcake Tea" where we enjoyed a nice luncheon and afterward decorated our own designer cupcakes or our "Gaudy Gala" tea where we dressed in our best (with lots of bling), enjoyed a lovely tea party and heard the salvation message before making our own salvation bracelet.

Crafts

So far we have learned to knit scarfs, make decorative soap, watercolor paint, make cannolis, make jewelry and specialty cards. We also have made toys for our missions team to deliver to children in Bulgaria.

Spa Day & Silent Auction

We are in our 3rd year of this popular event. Who can resist the pampering stations featuring neck & back massages, peppermint foot spa, paraffin hand dip, nail polishing, crafts, snacks and a silent auction! (The funds from the auction go to reduce the registration fee of the annual Women's Retreat).

Outings to movies, plays, craft activities, etc.

We are open to your suggestions for fun fellowship ideas.
